I always say, at every model show I go to, that I'm not going to buy anything. I have too many kits already, etc,. etc. That lasts for about 5 minutes once I actually make it into the vendor room. Then, I see stuff I just HAVE to have and it comes home with me. Here are the new models I added to my stash this year...
My first Hubley kit. Looks challenging.
The HVHMG show is about the only one where I add non-automotive models to the stash. Now, to see if I can actually build any of these before next year's show...
What color are you going to make The Phaeton?
ReplyDeleteNo idea...it's beyond my current skill set, so it will be a few years before I even attempt it. I don't even know where to start!
DeleteBilly - those Hubleys go together quite smoothly - they were designed for an era where there was no superglue or epoxy, so everything just bolts together. I built that one some time in the '70's it has had a place of honour on my shelves for 40+ years.
ReplyDeleteGood to know Les...I don't think I've seen one built before. Looking forward to trying to build mine!
